• he man who answers the phone at the Reservations desk was astonishingly rude. We had a corporate account for a musical group touring from out of the country and unfortunately they contracted COVID half way through the tour. When I called today to cancel the reservations, the man kept interrupting me, not allowing me to give any information regarding our reservation- I couldn’t even let him know WHY I was calling before he so rudely said “I’m very busy” and tried to hang up on me. Little did he know he didn’t actually hang up the phone and I could hear his entire conversation with another guest at the front desk, even though we had called first. When we emailed to cancel, they were zero help. Glad we had to cancel these reservations because it seems like we dodged a bullet with Ivy City Hotel.
