Like most diners, Gus’ Diner offers a wide range of All American Lifestyle dishes in a casual atmosphere with late operating hours. What makes Gus’ Diner unique is the fresh from-scratch kitchen with Greek / Mediterranean flavors, generous portions at a reasonable price, beautifully renovated family-friendly atmosphere and the ever-experienced staff that keeps this Manalapan landmark hopping.

The proprietors, Christos and Bessy Arvanitis, have been in the restaurant and catering business for well-over 30 years, previously owning other New Jersey landmarks, the Colonial Diner and the Millennium Diner. Today, Christos and Bessy have owned and managed Gus’ Diner for the last 9 years and they welcome your family to dine with their Gus’ Diner family anytime.

Regarding the painting… we just love it! The painting is called Café Terrace at Night, also known as The Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum. It is a colored oil painting by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh painted in Arles, France, mid-September 1888.
